Suqqu The Liquid Foundation is a radiant liquid foundation with a thin, smooth and long-lasting finish. The product was first launched in 2022, and in February 2026 Suqqu introduced an updated version.

In the Japanese beauty rankings for the first half of 2026, the renewed version became one of the major winners among foundation products: 1st place from Voce, Maquia, BiST and several other magazines in the liquid foundation category, the Makeup Grand Prize from BiST, and 2nd place from Biteki and Biteki Grand. In total, Suqqu’s official award list already includes at least 15 awards and ranking placements for 2026.

The main idea behind The Liquid Foundation is to create a thin, radiant coverage that evens out the skin tone, visually smooths the appearance of pores and texture, but does not look like a heavy mask.

Suqqu sees radiance as one of the key elements of beautiful mature skin: foundation should not simply cover imperfections, but make the skin look fresher, smoother and more luminous.

At the heart of the formula is Fluid Pigment technology. Powder pigments are converted into a liquid form before being added to the emulsion base. As a result, the foundation spreads exceptionally evenly, adheres better to the skin and looks less powdery. A light-reflecting elastic film fits closely to the skin, creates an even radiant finish and helps the makeup stay neat throughout the day.
In the updated 2026 version, Suqqu enhanced the radiance by increasing the amount of high-luminosity oils, improved adhesion to the skin and made the formula more resistant to pilling.

Some shades have also been updated: the palette is designed to blend more naturally with the skin, help visually conceal redness and avoid looking like a separate layer on the face.

The foundation is enriched with a moisturizing complex that includes Japanese extracts of green tea, cherry blossom, camellia, yuzu, laminaria, olive leaf, Japanese angelica and other components, as well as hydrolyzed silk and hyaluronic acid.
The texture is comfortable to wear in any season, does not emphasize dryness and is suitable for all skin types.

Japanese makeup artists especially note the “your skin, only more beautiful” effect: the foundation applies as a thin veil, blends even more naturally with the skin over time and does not turn dull. It can also be layered on areas where more coverage is needed without creating a heavy mask-like effect.

Sun protection factor varies by shade: from SPF20 PA+++ to SPF25 PA+++.

How to use: Take 1–2 small pea-sized amounts of foundation and spread from the center of the face outward using your fingers, a brush or a sponge. If needed, apply an additional thin layer to areas where more coverage is desired.
